My dog barks at everything and he wont stop?

I got a second dog and when I got him he was quiet for the first month (most likely settling in). However, after 2 and a half months he won't stop barking. A few examples: When I go to the garage to get a drink out of the fridge, he barks. He barks when everyone isn't in the same room and won't stop which makes things difficult if someone in the house is upstairs. If I plan on taking him and my other dog for a walk, he will bark at me and try to shove my other dog out of the way as I try to put her leash on. He will continue to bark until I have him out the door. He also barks if I give any attention to my other dog and not him or if it even looks like I am going to pet my other dog. One of the major problems however is that he barks at lawn mowers that are more than a block away (making Sundays a real problem). He also barks at pretty much anything else. I am thinking about getting him a bark collar but I wanted to know if there were any kinder ways of doing it.

Is my car battery dying twice in one month a bad thing for my car?

I did a little online research and found out the effective solution is to bait ants with a sweet and a poison so that the poison will spread to other ants/the source. After that, I cleaned out a Windex bottle and put sugar water, honey, and bleach into it, shook it up and sprayed it on my lawn. However, I've noticed that the ants seem to be quite enjoying the solution because I put a LOT of honey and sugar water (about ten ounces) along with barely two to three ounces of bleach. I don't know how old you are but I had a similar thing in high school. Basically I would say that friendship is a two way street, she demands a lot from you but gives nothing in return. All I can say is slowly faze her out. She will cause rifts between you and your other friends and slowly but surely it will end up being just the two of you. What to do with bad neighbors?

My fiance and I moved into a 2 family house 9 months ago. We live upstairs and a young man lives downstairs. We never had any problems up until 2 months ago. The guy downstairs had his "ex-girlfriend" move in that had just gotten out of jail so she had no where else to go. Before she moved in he also had another guy living their undercover that was not on the lease (but he kept a low profile and was no probelm). Also, we have a dog that we had to sign a contract for and pay a pet fee for every month. He has a huge dog and a cat living their without permission and now this girl. I dont care as long as they arent causing problems. But ever since he had this girl move in who isnt on the lease she has been telling my finace and I what she does and doesnt want us to do with our apartment. Telling us to keep our dog on a leash (he's a 10 lb. chihuahua) and not put our cigarte butts in front of OUR door. She mouths off comments to us every time we are outside. She has her dog out all day and we can't even use our yard. They smoke pot in their garage every night and have all their friends over every night drinking and standing around in the driveway till all hours of the night. We have never said anything to our land lord. We just moved to the area from hours away and dont know anyone here. But, this past weekend I had my sister and brother in law up to visit and I could tell the neigbors downstairs were pissed that I had visitors. They brought their two golden retreivers along and my bro in law was out on the lawn with his dog on a leash taking her to go poddy and someone downstairs told him to get off of the property before the dog downstairs bites his dog..I confronted the guy downstairs about EVERYTHING that has been going on since this girl moved in (bc it is her dog and cat) and he said that he would talk to her. Well, nothing happend and it continued. My finace callled the landlord and the landlord said that she is not on the lease there and that she is not allowed there and he doesnt want her living there. However, she wont leave and sits down on her porch and talks s*** all day long with her friends. We cant use the lawn and everytime we go outside she stares us down. My Fiance drives truck so I am here a lot alone and I hate it. They found out that we called the land lord and he came to my door and she came out and starting screaming at me out in the front yard at the top of her lungs. I just went in and said "i'm done" . My question after all this is what can I do? Lawn mower won't start?

I have a 6.5 hp push mower that has always run perfectly but now it suddenly won't start. I've removed and thoroughly cleaned the carb and jets, I've replaced the spark plug and checked for a spark, I've cleaned the gas tank and it still won't start. If I put starting fluid in the spark plug hole, I can get it to start for a few seconds, then it stops. It's getting gas to the carb; if I removed the bowl, there's gas in it. Any suggestions?

I'm 15, and I'm sick of life. Yes, I'm suicidal. But I feel like my circumstances are pretty much excusable. I don't want to be a whiny teen, but I'm so sick of my family. I feel like I'm going insane because of them. Here's what's happened. All my life, I've lived with my mom in one town. Then, all of a sudden, last year my dad moved across the country, and my mom ditched and went on the other side of the country. Leaving me in this situation where I don't want to leave in the middle of the school year. But my dad was persuading me to move to Tampa with him. So I gave in, and went to Tampa. He put me in all these sports and I was so homesick and he constantly pointed out that I was an embarrassment, and a disappointment, although my marks in school were straight A's and I kept my room clean and I barely ever went out with friends or even had friends. Then my mom said she'd find a job and move back home. So my dad, me and my mom had an ugly custody battle. I mean UGLY. It ruined me and my dad's failing relationship. I felt better I was going home though. But my mom lied. She wants this kind of California lifestyle. So, she made me move in with her. It was alright at first, but things went downhill really fast. She screamed at me for everything. Literally screaming. Calling me a ****, whore, every name in the book. She's even hit me before, and asked me to kill myself once. She'll get mad over making a C or not doing homework or that I'm depressed. I was lonely living with her. I had no friends, I had nothing to do, and she was making life hell. So she dumped me off to my uncle, and things went great. There was nothing wrong. Then we get in one argument, SOLVE THE PROBLEMS, and my mom calls and argues with him and tells him that I'm gonna move in with her friend. Without telling me. So he takes it all out on me, throws my stuff on the lawn, takes a pic of it and sends it to me, and forces me out without telling me why. Then he calls me a whore, says I'm gonna end up in the 9th grade again, and says he's glad he has a kid whose parents love him. So I live with my mom's friend. Then mom calls and says I have to move back to Cali this summer. Early. Way too early. At this point, I'm tired of moving. I'm tired of drama. I'm tired of bad crap happening. The last thing that could make me feel any better is moving to California. So I freaked out, took a bunch of painkillers, got found, and went to a mental facility for a week. None of my family cared I tried to kill myself. They just called me out of control. I'm going to just let you know, I don't do drugs, I don't have sex, I don't disrespect authority, I'm home on curfew, and I don't drink. I'm going crazy, because I have no clue why they think I'm out of control! I just want to stay home! I've moved literally 7 times in one year, across the country! What can I do about my abusive husband?

My husband and I have been married for 7 years and every single year things have gotten progressively worse between us. He is an alcoholic and recovering drug addict. He currently goes to the clinic once a day to get his dose of Suboxone. I am currently and have always paid for everything. Rent/mortgage, bills, groceries, and everything else. He occassionally gives me $40 here and there. Since I bought the house he has given me less than $300 total toward bills and we have been there over a year. His mom pays the majority of his child support and also his cell phone bill. I take care of everything with the house. I clean, do the laundry, and even mow the lawn. I don't do any drugs or drink. I go to work everyday and come straight home. I treat everyone with respect and mind my p's and q's. I am a very calm and unconfrontational person and would prefer to live my life without drama. I don't cheat and have never cheated. Even after all this I find my husband yelling, cussing, and calling me names almost on a daily basis and I have done nothing wrong. He even yells and cusses at me in front of his mom and son. On many occassions he has threatened to burn the house down and kill me. He swears up and down that I am cheating on him and he will go to my work and shoot everyone that walks out. He owns a hand gun and other rifles and knives. I have told him to leave the house before and move out but he refuses. I am afraid that if I take the next step toward divorce he will hurt or kill me or even burn the house down. He has threatened to take my puppy from me if I do kick him out. He has even said if I do divorce him that my family and I need to "watch our backs" because if he catches us out he will kill us because this is his town. His relationship with his son's mother ended with him in jail because left a voicemail he was going to kill her and her whole family. She had an EPO (Emergency Protective Order) on him for several years. Should I go to the police? Do I just go to the police station and tell them my situation? Can I get some kind of EPO or restraining order on him for his threats and how easy is this to do?

Where could we sell breast milk?

We dont want to donate to the milk banks because in our area, they ask for donated milk and then charge the potential searchers an arm and a leg. We just want to sell $1 per bag (which usually contains 6 to 7 ounces). The reason why we want to sell it and not donate is for the milk storage bags we used to freeze the milk in (about 50 to 75 cents each) and the wear and tear on the breast pump. Other than that, we dont seek profit. We've tried La Leche League, Craigslist but they dont endorse selling of breast milk. Ok would appreciate some advice especially from anyone who's been in a similar situation. I caught my partner of 14 years having an affair at a gym that I wasn't aware he was going to. Now he rings me to tell me about work and what his thoughts are. He even apologized to me for treating me so badly when the kids were born and not being there for us when we needed him. And the most surprising was having him call me in tears to explain that he gets it now, that he never managed to get down on our youngest sons level and just love him for him. He was always to busy with his social life he always seemed to resent having a son follow him around trying to impress his daddy. I was a very strong independent girl when we first met and he seemed to resent my passion for life so much so that I was in a bad way with depression towards the end. Is it bad. For 15 months, I practiced for my high school's cheerleading team. They are national champions so they're really good. I worked hard and was good. I learned the dance, I picked up stunts very quickly despite being brand new to them (never was an actual cheerleader, elementary school didn't have it.) And i had tumbling skills that a lot of other girls who had cheered the entire life did not. So I got really nervous during tryouts and bombed them. Of course I was heartbroken when I didn't make the team. I always loved practicing for it. But now its something more. Its doing the dance i learned at tryouts everyday multiple times a day. It's practicing tumbling for at least an hour everyday. I start to feel anxiety or unhappy when I don't do it. I do it at the gym, on my lawn, at parties, you name it. I have bug bites all over my legs from practicing late it night. I'll tell my mom I will do just ONE back handspring and come inside. Ten minutes later, I'm still there. I didn't get a shower for 50 minutes because I was Practing the dance and flying positions and couldn't stop. I stay up til 3 a. M daydreaming about being on the team. It is unlikely that your pressure tank is undersized. The pressure tank does not effect the pressure in the water lines in your house, it only tells the well pump to turn on to send water to the house You have a blockage some where or one of the components is installed incorrectly. Try doing some testing first. At the base of your pressure tank there should be a boiler drain. It is just a spigot, open that up and see what kind of pressure you have there. If you do not have good pressure there shut off the electric to the well and remove the line from the well to the pressure tank from the pressure tank. There should be a check valve right there so remove it also. Turn the electric back on and see what pressure you have coming into the house at that point. If you have good pressure coming from the direct line from the well. Your check valve was either put on backwards or it is not working properly and you need a new one. Be careful you could get water all over the place as you do this. If you do not get good pressure at that point the line from the well to the house is broken or plugged. If you have good pressure at the boiler drain at the base of the pressure tank you have some kind of a blockage at the distribution manifold for the pex tubing or there is a blockage between the pressure tank and the manifold. There is also the possibility that the plumbers didn't clean the pex tubing properly before they made various connections and there are small particles of plastic pex plugging something up. You have to find out what the blockage is, and adding an additional pump inside the house won't do a thing.

Some fire departments have "Junior Firefighter" programs where you would learn everything you mentioned and more. Even if they don't have any programs like that many of them will still take the time to work with you if you are truly interested in doing this as your Senior Project. Neighbor taking out our shrubs, need an affordable safety fence!?

In the last year our unfriendly (but hadn't been hostile) neighbor has seemed to be going through something which seems to be getting worse and worse. He has never talked to me in 5 years, but one sudden manic moment told me all about how the cops had taken his friend away and now had a restraining order, and how he'd been sick for a year and lost a ton of weight. I never knew anything about him, though tried to say hi and had for years left holiday cards, but all in 1 conversation learned more than I would normally have learned in months. He never talked to me again since (that was 6 months ago) and since then he has had new friends move in/out, had men stopping in front of our house at 3:30am beeping (I could see the man's GPS, so I figure he didn't know the neighbor much since he didn't know where he lived), and recently had his new live-in friend taken out by stretcher unconscious at about 4pm (I'm only guessing drugs, but don't know, but he had told me in that one conversation that his last friend had been drunk and doing drugs the night he was arrested). All of this story is to lead up to why I am more worried that he is getting worse, more unbalanced. His house is very close to our's, and a few days ago he walked onto our lawn while I was home with my baby and pulled out a bunch of our shrubs along our house that my husband had been growing for years. Our neighbor is a cop, and he told us his wife saw him do it, and it makes me think this neighbor is getting more and more unbalanced, and I'm scared, and a new mom, and so nervous to be in our little backyard with my baby. We have a little fence between our yards halfway, but it's only about 3 ft high. We don't have much money but I'm desperate to put in a higher fence! I've been researching putting in our own fence, but we can't afford the put together fences I found online (I called the town hall, and we can have 6ft tall, and can be on the property line, but the man suggested leaving a foot). I have been trying to think of ways to build a fence, or find used lumber, or maybe buying some inexpensive mesh? I saw rolls of mesh on one site and posts, and also saw faux ivy screens that might make more privacy, but my biggest concern is safety, and keeping him/anything out from his side of the yard. It may sound like I'm being a nervous mom, but I have heard the screaming from outdoors at 3:30 am, and heard banging on our backdoor one night, and think he or is ex-boyfriend may have hurdled our little fence, so I really have been scared to go out. On a tight budget, is there any way that someone can build some kind of fence? We do have a fence in the backyard (the 3 ft one) so there are some posts there, but not on the area abutting his driveway, where he tore out our shrubs, and where we're always finding trash and cigarette butts. Unfortumately there are many batches of different fish swarming through the interent, especially with a public forum like this. You get all types of people, attracting some specific demographics or just more broad that will involve ppl like trolls/idiots or people who are more mature. YA pretty much in some sense is risk taking when asking a question as there is no guarantee what kind of answer you will get whether its just genious or just plain abuse. I have had done before to me and i basically report them. I simply dont want these types going onto mine answering and practically giving a lame response so they get points or just enjoy poking fun. Remember lots of people today are soft c**ks and play with your head behind the computer. I just wish there was only certain people i can get answers from on this site.
