What should be done to restore people's confidence in Indian democracy & its institutions?

To begin with the very election process is farce because The voters list is always incomplete. Many people cannot vote because they are posted away from their constituency and no facility to cast vote from where ever they are. unless 80% of the people vote the election should be held again till people come for voting. Screening of Voters list and availability of avoter have to be screened by computers. Voter should be identified by thumb impression and not by putting an ink mark in the finger. All the congregation of political party workers near polling booth should be banned. Most of the current men in the parliament have gone there by securing 10 to 20% of the votes .Unless a candidate secures 60% of votes polled he should bot be declared as elected.
