Is this scene in lethal weapon 4 possible in real life?

Actually, here in the Philippines, the late great Fernando Poe Jr. the acknowledged King of Philippine Action Movies(the Filipino version of John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and Sly Stallone rolled into one) regularly featured that and other fancy moves in his movies back in the 70s, 80s and 90s, he even showed it being done to an M-16 rifle. But it's all just in the movies of course. It's possible, if the gun wielder is a statue and doesn't move, but not likely.
